How I work
When the answer is not in the handbook.
I work with owners and senior leaders who need experienced HR judgment to make a decision, solve a problem, reduce risk, strengthen a leader or determine what to do next.
A clear boundary
The work is judgment, not administration.
I do not run payroll, recruit, process paperwork or take over day-to-day HR administration. My role is to bring perspective when a situation has more at stake than a checklist can hold.
Why clients trust me
Calm is useful when a decision is not.
Nearly four decades in human resources means I have seen the pattern beneath the immediate problem. I listen carefully, ask the question that has not yet been asked and give a direct view of what may happen next.
Knowing the limits
Good advice includes knowing when it is time to bring someone else in.
When an issue is outside my lane, I say so. If employment counsel, a benefits professional, an investigator or another specialist should be involved, I will help clarify that need rather than stretch an answer past what it can responsibly cover.
For referral partners
A trusted next step for a client who needs experienced HR support.
Employment attorneys, CPAs, business attorneys, benefits professionals and insurance advisors know when a people question is becoming a business question. I offer a confidential, practical place to begin.
